Message from Gord Ley – Director of Beach Volleyball

Hi All,

At registration you were asked to volunteer some time on Sunday, July 24th in support of our OVA/Breakers Satellite Tournament. All but 30 of you have indicated that you would be available to help in some way. Thank you.

We have now been given an opportunity to sell OVA Beach Wear during the previous weekend (July 16/17th)OVA Beach Tournament. This could be a major fund raiser for the club and help offset our indoor costs. For those of you who were not available for the 24th this is your opportunity!

Through our Beach fundraising we have subsidized all of our volleyball programs so that we offer the lowest cost/comprehensive indoor and beach programs in the Province. We need and deserve your support to continue these services without passing higher registration fees on to our athletes.

Below is a schedule for the two weekends when we will need your support. Please review and indicate to me what times and dates you are available.

July 16th or 17th
8am-11
11-2
2-5pm

July 23rd
6pm-Midnight (Security on the Beach- keeping an eye on the nets)
Midnight to 6am (Security on the Beach – Keeping an eye on the nets)

July 24th
7am-10am
10am-1pm
1pm – 4pm
4pm- 7pm
